Iskhakov: migration in Far East is under authorities` control
Russian presidential plenipotentiary in Far East federal region Kamil Iskhakov announced that foreign migration in Far East is under control of authorities.
"We possess exact figures - how many people, citizens of which countries work in any organization, industry of national economy. We know where they live. Trust me, this work is arranged", - said Iskhakov to journalists.
Plenipotentiary noted that problem of illegal migration exists in Far East but not in catastrophic scales and that foreign laborers, including Chinese ones, are under strict control of authorities.
"There are plenty of foreigners. But without them our region will not survive. Native citizens of Far East continue to leave to more prosperous regions of Russia", - noted Iskhakov.
By his words, there is lack of workers in Far East; therefore organizations have to recruit citizens of Commonwealth of Independent States and neighboring countries - China and North Korea - for construction of roads, bridges, apartment houses and plants.
"Along with that, state intends to improve living conditions of Russian citizens on territory of Far East. There are new economic projects, foreign investments", - emphasized plenipotentiary.
By words of Iskhakov, since 2000 new enterprises, roads, hospitals, cultural houses started to open on territory of the region.
Plenipotentiary expressed hope that realization of priority national projects in Far East will keep people in the region and attract compatriots, living in neighboring countries.
